LEGO Sumo in Tampa, Florida

Build and program a sumo robot with LEGOs. Then test it against other sumo robots in friendly competition where the object is to push another robot out of the ring (without damaging either robot!).

This STEM activity is a fun way to learn about designing and building robots and programming them with LEGO Mindstorms software to use sensors and run autonomously like a self-driving car.

LEGO parts only. And there are size limitations. But you can build a killer bot with just the parts that come with the LEGO Mindstorms 31313 kit. Or even an NXT.
